On Saturday, January 18, Nelly Korda practiced some shots and shared a video on her Instagram account. Following her golf outing, the American also shared another story on her social media account about her special “Butternut squash soup.” She posted a snap of the soup on her Instagram story.
Nelly Korda enjoyed a fabulous season in 2024. She won seven tournaments, including the second Major of her career at the Chevron Championship. The other tournaments she won in 2024 were the LPGA Drive on Championship, Fir Hills Seri PAK Championship, Ford Championship, T-Mobile Match Play, Mizuho Americas Open, and The Annika.

Nelly Korda “dragged” her father to golf practice
In her recent golf practice, Nelly Korda also dragged her father Petr to the greens. The American golfer posted a video of her practice on her Instagram along with the caption:
Notably, Nelly Korda played with her father at the popular PNC Championship 2024. The tournament featured a stellar field of players, including John Daly and Tiger Woods, and was held at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.
During the press conference of the tournament on December 20, 2024, Korda revealed how her father Petr, who is a retired tennis player, motivated her and fueled her passion.
“They always wanted us to be passionate about something, to find what we truly love.
Golf was something that he started playing after tennis, and it was something that we could all do together.
“My sister is five years older than I am, and she was definitely one of my role models in life, so anything she did, I wanted to do. It was a great time for us to spend great quality family time together. But yeah, we were never pushed into tennis. We skied in the winters. I figure skated. I did gymnastics. We kind of dabbled a little bit in everything. But at the end of the day, we were passionate about golf, and that’s the route that we took,” she added.
Nelly Korda is most likely to return to play in an official golf tournament with the LPGA Tour’s Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. The tournament will take place from January 30 to February 2 in Orlando, Florida.
