The VCCP campaign reimagines and revitalizes the iconic Funky Pigeon character, giving it a new name, Funky, and introducing the back-up band, the Funkettes.

A new era for the greeting card and gifting brand begins today with Funky Pigeon’s announcement of the launch of its new brand identity in collaboration with VCCP London, a creative agency of record yang baru dilantik. Following a competitive pitch, Funky Pigeon has collaborated with VCCP in order to revitalize its iconic brand. Dengan bantuan Funky Pigeon, the new campaign, “Give a Funk,” bertujuan untuk mendorong orang ramai untuk membeli lebih personalised cards and gifts.

Central to the campaign is the introduction of Funky, the charming mascot of Funky Pigeon, who leads the charge with the Funkettes, her backing band. The brand is revived by this ensemble.

On the 30” film at the heart of the campaign, VCCP’s global content creation studio Girl&Bear collaborated with Passion Pictures and famous animation director Tim Hope. The movie captures a funny moment at a gas station, where Funky Pigeon’s contagious spirit turns an ordinary, unthinking card selection into a tender gesture. The film, with its animated sequences and lively music, encourages viewers to “put some heart and soul” into what they buy.

Bernadette’s socially native content will be used to broaden the campaign on social media platforms. Bernadette created the social-first assets for Meta and TikTok. Funky Pigeon’s unique personalised cards and gifts are displayed creatively in these assets. Funky Pigeon CEO Louise Marshall explained, “At Funky Pigeon, we believe in celebrating the unique connections that make life special.” Our campaign “Give a Funk” is a call to action to welcome authentic, sincere gifts that go beyond duty. We invite everyone to Give a Funk with the help of Funky Pigeon.
