Kyle Larson, a legend of Hendrick Motorsports, is now included in a special NASCAR statistic based on 100 races during the NextGen era. Trey Ryan, a well-known stat person on X (formerly Twitter), claims that Larson leads the most laps at four NASCAR racetracks right now—the most since 2022.
In 2014, Kyle Larson started competing in the Cup Series with Chip Ganassi Racing. Currently, he drives Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. With 15 wins in the Xfinity Series and three in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Larson has won 27 times in the Cup Series alone. The Elk Grove native won his first and only Cup Series championship in his debut season at Hendrick Motorsports.
The next race in which Larson will participate is the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 21. The 32-year-old has made 16 starts in Bristol so far, and he has one win, one pole, six top-5s, eleven top-10s, and one DNF. At the Tennessee short-track oval, he has led 889 laps and boasts an average start and finish of 13.6 and 11.6, respectively. From 7:30 PM ET onwards, viewers can watch Larson in action on NBC and USA. There will be radio updates on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and PRN.
