Shortly after releasing WR Easop Winston to free up a spot, the Seahawks made the announcement that they had added QB Jaren Hall to their practice squad. At BYU, Hall, 26, started both years. He was selected by the Vikings in the fifth round of the NFL Draft in 2023. He marked a four-year, $4.12 million newbie contract that incorporated a marking reward of $279,272. After starting two games for Minnesota in 2023, Hall was one of the final players cut from the Vikings’ roster before the 2024 season. Hall started 24 games and appeared in 31 games over the course of his four years at college. He threw for 6,174 yards, 52 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, completing 65.2% of his passes. He also rushed for 181 attempts, which resulted in 798 yards and nine touchdowns. Hall went 1-1 with a record of three appearances and two starts in 2023. He finished 13 of 20 pass endeavors for 168 yards and one capture attempt. Additionally, he ran six times for 14 yards.
