At Sardis (Miss.), KJ Jefferson was a four-star varsity football and basketball player. Before moving on to Arkansas, North Panola. During his first season, he started against No. 1 LSU, which won the national championship. He also started once during his redshirt freshman season. He got the job before the season of 2021 even started and exploded on the scene. He played in all 13 games, throwing for 2,676 yards and rushing for 664 yards, both team highs.
