Shocking news: the coach of south Carolina Shane Beamer announced fired due to…
After the remains of a woman who had been missing for two years were discovered earlier this summer buried under a firepit in the yard of a home in South Carolina, a man has been charged with her murder. According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, a warrant for the arrest of Sheridan Dirk Fogle, 54, was served in the 1800 block of Broughton Street in Orangeburg on Thursday in connection with the case of Penni Whiteside’s disappearance and her murder. Whiteside was most recently seen on May 11, 2022 and had been residing with Fogle in a home at the 600 block of first Road at that point, police said. She had just turned 51. At this time, Whiteside and Fogle’s relationship is unclear. In a news release, the Myrtle Beach Police Department stated, “Further investigation revealed that due to statements made by her neighbors, there was reason to believe that she may have been buried near the residence, in the backyard under a firepit.” According to the Horry County Coroner’s office, Whiteside’s remains were discovered buried in the yard of the house on June 12 during a search. The coroner’s office did not specify the cause of death. Police stated, “This is a senseless crime of violence and a tragic loss of life.” “Please keep praying for the victim’s friends and family.” Fogle was set up for the J. According to online records, he was taken into custody on Friday at the Reuben Long Detention Center in Horry County. He has not been granted bail. Fogle’s next hearing date and whether he has an attorney are currently unknown. Mirna Alsharif.Alsharif Mirna Reporter for breaking news Keep reading.
