Robert Lee “Bobby” Bell Jr. was born on June 17, 1940, in Shelby, North Carolina. He is a former American football linebacker and defensive end who played for the Kansas City Chiefs in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL).

 

Early Life and College:

 

– Born in Shelby, North Carolina

– Attended Cleveland High School

– Played college football at the University of Minnesota (1959-1962)

– Earned All-American honors in 1961 and 1962

 

Professional Career:

 

– Drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2nd round (16th overall) of the 1963 AFL Draft
