RED HOT CHILI PEPPER Announces 2026 Farewell Tour ‘One Last Ride’ — Netflix to Capture the Historic Journey in Exclusive Documentary
Open Letter from red hot chili peppers
To my beloved fans around the world,
As I sit down to write this, I feel the weight of time, the pull of memory, and the overwhelming gratitude of a journey that has lasted longer and meant more than I could have ever dreamed. Music has been the constant rhythm of my life—my voice, my outlet, my companion, and my connection to each and every one of you.
From the first notes I strummed in a small room to the thunder of voices singing together in sold-out stadiums, you have been there. You carried me through the highs, you stood by me through the lows, and together we created a story written in sound, passion, and love. Every city, every stage, every night—it wasn’t just me up there, it was us.
It is with this spirit that I announce my final tour: “One Last Ride,” taking place in 2026. This will be my farewell to the road, my last opportunity to share the stage in the way I have for more than three decades. It will be a celebration, a reunion, and a moment for us to honor the music and memories that have bound us together since the very beginning.
This is not an ending to creativity or to music—I will always write, always sing, and always explore the beauty of sound. But the road, the relentless travel, the life lived out of a suitcase and inside arenas—it is time for me to close that chapter. I do so with peace in my heart, knowing that we will get one more chance to make magic together.
I also want this journey to live on long after the last chord is struck. That’s why I am honored to announce a partnership with Netflix, who will be documenting the entire experience of One Last Ride. This will not simply be a concert film. It will be a deep look into the preparation, the emotion, the joy, and the farewell. From rehearsals and backstage moments to the roar of the crowd and the silence that follows the encore, every part of this journey will be captured with honesty and love.
This documentary is for all of you—the fans who have been with me since “Let Love Rule,” those who discovered me through “Fly Away,” and even those who only recently found something in my music that spoke to them. Music has no timeline, no expiration date. It finds us when we need it, and I want this film to be a reminder of that timeless connection.
As we prepare to embark on One Last Ride, I am filled with both joy and a touch of sadness. Joy because I know these shows will be celebrations unlike any other, a gathering of souls united by sound. Sadness because I know it will be the last time I stand on that stage in this way, watching thousands of faces shining back at me, singing every word. But that sadness is balanced with gratitude—a deep, unshakable gratitude that I was given the chance to live this life, and that you chose to share it with me.
The tour will take us across continents, revisiting the places where so many of our memories were born. Each city will hold its own story, each night will carry its own energy. I want these shows to be more than concerts—I want them to be spiritual gatherings, moments where we leave everything else outside and step into the sacred space of music together.
I have always believed that music has the power to heal, to unite, and to transcend. In a world too often divided, our time together has always been a reminder that love is stronger than hate, that rhythm and melody can bridge gaps words alone cannot. As we ride together one last time, let us make it a testament to that truth.
Thank you—for your belief, your loyalty, your voices, your stories, and your love. Without you, there would be no me on that stage. Without you, none of this would have been possible.
So let’s do this—one more ride, one more celebration, one more chance to turn up the volume and let the music carry us higher than ever before. And when it’s over, when the lights dim and the echoes fade, know that this love will remain eternal.
With endless gratitude and love,
Lenny Kravitz
