Heart breaking: Koben bence just passed away at the age of… more details
The comparison between Kim Wexler and Skyler White, the most polarizing character on Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul made me appreciate Skyler more. Kim took on the role that Skyler played in Breaking Bad once the premise of Better Call Saul became clear. In Breaking Terrible, when Skyler at long last became mindful of her significant other’s mystery twofold life as a medication top dog, she turned into the show’s ethical compass. In Better Call Saul, Kim assumed a similar part in Jimmy McGill’s life as he slipped endlessly further into the crook side of criminal regulation. The Skyler disdain among the Breaking Awful fan base generally struck me as misanthropic. It follows an unsettling pattern in which viewers applaud their murderous male antagonist and despise the female love interest who questions his morality. Fans of Breaking Bad were outraged when Skyler expressed doubts about his meth empire, even though they were fine with all of Walter White’s killings. The fact that Barry Berkman was a professional assassin was fine with them, but they detested his girlfriend Sally for pointing out his toxic nature. Skyler has made me even more grateful, thanks to Better Call Saul.
