Michigan Football WRs look to fix mistakes quickly ahead of Oklahoma…….see…..moro……

In the season-opening win over New Mexico last week, the wide receivers played a pivotal role in helping Underwood quickly find a rhythm in his debut, as Channing Goodwin, Donaven McCulley and Semaj Morgan all made a major impact. Underwood had plenty of success – racking up 251 passing yards, one touchdown and connecting with eight different players for at least one reception — but a series of drops held him back from being even more productive.

According to Pro Football Focus, there were four drops against the Lobos from Wolverine receivers — two from Goodwin, and one each from Fred Moore and Marlin Klein. Heading into a hostile environment this weekend, it will be important for Underwood to have total trust in his receivers.

Michigan wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy explained that the passing game will continue to find success this season due to the large amount of contributors — as well as the new quarterback.
